We are a fun friendly Dog Flyball Club who train most Saturdays at the Richardson Evans Memorial Playing Fields on Wimbledon Common. Flyball is fun and allows both dogs (and handlers) to exercise their brain and body. We want all dogs to get as much enjoyment out of flyball as they can whether in training or in competition. We aim to provide a friendly atmosphere in which both dogs and handlers can reach their full potential. The social aspect of our club is as important to the dogs as the owners. We are Kennel Club and British Flyball Association registered. Flyball Club flyball dog training
Flyball is a fast and fun sport for dogs and their handlers. A team of dogs must hurdle 4 jumps, retrieve a ball from a spring-loaded box and return over the 4 jumps before changing with the next dog A team consists of up to 6 dogs, with 4 racing at any one time. Faults are awarded for an early change, dropped ball or missed jumps. Any dog that gets a fault must run their leg again in order for the team to complete.
